Resolute

Wow! It is already almost half-way through the first month of 2015. Time is going by so very quickly. Like always, the beginning of the year is filled to the brim full of resolutions of healthy habits and goals. I know, I know. This grouping includes me too. But come February my goals are out the window, or maybe pushed to the back burner. In 2014 I picked up a Breville Juice Fountain and have done a week-long juice cleanse here or there, but I feel like I could do much better.

Christmas 2014

Hi everyone! I know that it has been a while since I have touched base but this season was just a busy one. We kicked off our holidays by going to see The Nutcracker ballet. I had never been before and I loved it. All of the dancers made everything look so effortless.

Feeling Black

When it comes to Fall, I love black. I decided to make up a vision board of a few items I would pair together.

One Year

Happy Sunday friends! Yesterday my fiancĂ©, Zak and I just got back from a quick trip to the mountains. Jasper National Park, to be exact. One year ago, on August 21st, my best friend proposed to me while on a vacation in the mountains. It was perfect. It was on a little bridge at Pyramid Lake in Jasper, while the sun was setting, and it was just me and him. He nervously got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. After saying yes he told me about how he designed the ring using all four of our grandmother's gold, such as wedding bands, earrings, necklaces, etc. I don't think I had cried so much before in my life. Since that day a lot has happened and we couldn't wait to cap it off with another quick trip back to celebrate. I just love him so much.

To me, Jasper is one of the prettiest places and one of my all time favourite places. As soon as you pull into the mountains you see such gorgeous wildlife and pools of emerald green and bright blue waters.
